Sonja Morgan‘s daughter, Quincy Adams Morgan, recently decided to expose her life on social media, but will she also join her mom on The Real Housewives of New York City?

Months after Quincy made her previously private Instagram page public, Sonja reflected on her daughter’s decision to allow the public to see her feed before suggesting that doing so was the first step to the 20-year-old college student appearing on the Bravo series.

“Obviously, with a perfect SAT score and studying math and science and arts, she doesn’t want to just go straight financial for her career,” Sonja revealed during an interview with Page Six on May 4. “So she’s an entrepreneur. And so, she knew it was the right move to go public for business. That’s it. It’s purely for business.”

Although Sonja understands why Quincy, a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania, decided to go public on Instagram, she’s also concerned about what that may mean for her child.

“I just worry because people can be so cruel. I worry for my daughter, which is why she hasn’t been on the show,” Sonja explained, adding that Quincy is still unsure about whether or not she should make a cameo on RHONY in the future.

“We’re going to have to see,” Sonja teased. “This was the first step, going public with her Instagram. Let’s see how she handles — I know she’ll handle it well, but let’s see how she feels about it and revisit the topic later. Who knows? It’s her choice at this point. She’s an adult.”

While Sonja has been featured in a full-time role since the series’ third season in 2010, Quincy has never been seen on the show, and during an interview in November 2018, she said she didn’t want to “drag anyone else into” the show’s drama.

“I just don’t think it’s good,” Sonja admitted on the Sip with Sam podcast at the time. “I mean, I know how to handle it, and I’ll handle myself, and I chose it. But I don’t think I should drag anyone else into it, especially a young kid.”

The Real Housewives of New York City season 13 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
