Marc Daly is breaking his silence as he confirms his divorce from RHOA star Kenya Moore is back on following reports and claims that the two were attempting to reconcile.

If you recall, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya revealed she and Marc had split back in 2019 amid filming on the 12th season of the Bravo series. However, since that split, Kenya has given numerous interviews stating Marc wanted to fix their marriage and that they were working on things.

Most recently, during a December 2020 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Kenya claimed Marc was still fighting for their marriage.

“I have not filed for divorce. He did file and withdrew it less than 24 hours later so we’ve kind of gotten past that,” Kenya explained last month. “Right now, Marc is really fighting for his marriage. He wants to go to counseling. He’s made appointments. He’s asking to publicly apologize to me and a lot of things that I never thought I’d see the day.”

Unfortunately, it appears despite their efforts, they have decided to go their separate ways. In a statement released to The Root, Marc revealed that following a recent mediation, he and Kenya have agreed to end their marriage and simply focus on co-parenting their 2-year-old daughter, Brooklyn Daly.

“After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage. I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom,” stated Marc.

He continued, “As always, in addition to perpetual self-improvement, my primary focus will continue to be helping the underserved and people of color in Brooklyn to recover from the negative impact of the COVID – 19 pandemic. This focus will take shape through using my restaurant as a “Community Hub” where positive and diverse perspectives on important topics such as economic empowerment, social activism, and political engagement can be highlighted in a safe and productive forum. I’m blessed to be a positive change agent for not just my family but also my community.”

For the time being, Kenya, 48, has yet to break her silence on this latest update.

Kenya and Marc, who met in June 2016, got married in June 2017 in St. Lucia. The couple then welcomed their daughter Brooklyn on November 4, 2018, before announcing their split in September 2019.

Marc and Kenya were last seen together publicly in November 2020 as they reunited to celebrate Brooklyn’s 2nd birthday.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 13 airs Sunday nights at 8/7c on Bravo.
