“Yes, well obviously,” Kyle said of Teddi’s return to the show during the May 24 episode of the Teddi Tea Pod podcast, via Us Weekly. “I mean, I had to drag you, but you did.”
Although Teddi wouldn’t reveal any details in regard to what it was that she filmed, or how many times she found herself in front of the cameras, she didn’t deny her upcoming appearance.
“You’ll have to see,” Teddi teased of what is to come.
According to Kyle, Teddi didn’t initially give in to the idea of filming for season 11 of RHOBH. So, in order to get her back to the show, she had to do “some convincing” before Teddi ultimately agreed.
As fans of the series will recall, Teddi confirmed she was let go from her full-time position last fall on Instagram.
“I recently found out that my contract as a Housewife is not being renewed. Of course, I could give you the standard response of ‘Oh, we both came to the decision that it would be best …’ Nah, I’m not gonna do that. That’s not who I am,” Teddi said in a short video. “Of course, when I got the news I was sad. It feels like a breakup almost because you develop such strong relationships with the cast, with the crew, and you get to do incredible things that you probably never get to experience without, you know, the show.”
“That being said, I’m really looking forward to the future and being able to focus on my family, my friends, All In. I really feel like I have some exciting things ahead,” she added.
“Teddi Mellencamp released what I thought was one of the most, no BS, ‘I’m leaving’ announcements on record,” he declared. “I thought that was really good. She’s an accountability coach. So she checked herself.”
In addition to her upcoming cameo on RHOBH, Teddi recently revealed plans for a new reality show.
“I’ve been developing a show based on All In,” Teddi told The Things in March. “I would love to do something that’s helping others and using the platform to help change lives.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
“My uncle Joe and Aunt Melissa should not bring up my father because it’s not only disrespecting my mom, but it’s disrespecting my sisters and I,” she proclaimed on the late-night talk show per Bravo TV.
Joe Gorga also discussed the tense family dynamic when he appeared on WWHL. He explained that he understands why his sister Teresa Giudice‘s daughters are on Joe Giudice’s side, but it doesn’t make it any less hurtful for him.
“I’ll be honest with you, they didn’t like it,” he said of Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana’s reaction to the family drama on the show. “They’re supporting their father, which I agree, support your dad. I’m a little hurt by that because I love them so much and I give them a lot of attention and they’re just listening to him.”
He added, “I’m just gonna give it to them. That’s their daughters, [and] that’s their father, and I’m gonna take a seat back.”
Nevertheless, Gia made it clear whose side she’s on over the weekend as she took to Instagram to praise Joe Giudice on his 49th birthday. She shared a sweet photo of the father-daughter duo standing in front of a large fish aquarium, and she included a heartfelt caption.
“Happy birthday daddy! Hope you are having an amazing day,” she wrote. “Your personality lights up every room you walk into.. I love you so much see you soon, miss you!! [We’ll] celebrate soon.”
Of course, the proud father responded, commenting, “Love you and miss you so much, the apple doesn’t fall from the tree my Gia.”
Though Joe Gorga and Melissa have certainly blasted Joe Giudice on the show, Joe Giudice has also had plenty to say about the Gorgas in the press. In fact, he accused Joe Gorga of stealing his father’s money earlier this year.
“The only person that hurt Teresa and Joe’s dad was Joe Gorga,” he told Celebuzz in April. “He took money from his dad. The parents lost their home because of Joe Gorga and had [to] rent… The parents lost everything because of Joe Gorga.”
In addition, he has also called the RHONJ couple “ignorant” and claimed they should be kissing his butt since he’s the reason they were asked to join the show in the first place.
Unfortunately, the feud between Joe and the Gorgas will likely never come to an end, but Teresa said on the reunion that she has asked Joe Giudice to stop bashing her brother and sister-in-law in the press. Stay tuned.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 11 will conclude with part two of the reunion, which airs Wednesday night on Bravo at 9/8c.
On May 22, Reality Ashhole called out Andy Cohen for failing to spotlight Caroline’s apparent hypocrisy during her time on RHONJ before revealing why Caroline wrote her letter.
“Caroline Manzo spent YEARS trying to deflect onto Teresa Giudice not caring about family and everyone kept listening to her as the family ‘expert’ even though she didn’t talk to some of her own siblings and Andy never called out the hypocrisy?” the fanpage asked. “Well she also wrote a character witness letter to help the man (Dina’s ex husband Tommy) who had her sister Dina Manzo ATTACKED, get out of jail.”
“Because it’s true,” one person wrote in response to the screenshot.
“I still can’t believe the same person who said, ‘Let me tell you something about my family…’ did this. He tried to murder your sister!” a second added.
Then, a third fan labeled Caroline a “sick b-tch.”
During a virtual court hearing on Friday, Tommy was seen, via NJ.com, looking much older than he has in recent photos while wearing a dark green shirt.
As RHONJ fans may know, Tommy is accused not only of assaulting Dina and Dave in their home in 2017 but also of hiring an alleged member of the Lucchese crime family to attack Dave in a strip mall in 2015.
During the 2017 incident, Tommy and another man reportedly beat Dave with a baseball bat after bounding him and Dina with zip ties and allegedly stealing the couple’s engagement rings.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 11 reunion, part two, airs Wednesday, May 26, at 9/8c on Bravo.
Some fans were concerned the new season wouldn’t provide enough drama since Monique Samuelsquit the show following season five, but the ladies kept it moving as Gizelle Bryant seemingly found a new target in Dr. Wendy Osefo and her marriage. However, Wendy is not the only cast member facing marital woes. It appears many of the women are struggling in their respective relationships.
“One thing you learn about living in Potomac, it’s a town of smoke in mirrors. You never know who you can trust,” Wendy says as the supertease begins.
“Mia is a boss,” Karen tells the camera. “She’s a breath of fresh air.”
Mia then reveals to Gizelle that she was forced to work her way to the top because she grew up in foster care after she was taken away from her mother by the state. Therefore, the successful businesswoman likely won’t take any crap from her new co-stars.
“Honey, you got dragged,” Karen tells Gizelle. “Then you let him back in and he dragged you again.”
Finally, Wendy and her husband, Eddie Osefo, are seen having a chat about the state of their marriage before the rumors are brought up.
“Are you happy? Are you fulfilled,” Wendy asks Eddie. “No!” he replies, which appears to catch her off guard.
The supertease then cuts to Gizelle discussing the “Eddie rumors” with Ashley. And judging by Wendy’s reaction, it’s fairly clear that Ashley isn’t the only person the My Word author discussed the rumors with.
“What you’re not going to do is you’re not going to play with my husband’s name,” Wendy declares. She later breaks the fourth wall, adding, “I see you for everything everybody ever said that you were. F*ck these motherf*cking cameras!”
Needless to say, Gizelle doesn’t “give a sh*t!”
The Real Housewives of Potomac season six premieres Sunday, July 11, on Bravo at 8/7c.
One Below Deck yacht owner reveals how much he was paid for the use of his boat and others react to the partying that takes place on board as the jaw-dropping amount of money it takes to film the show is revealed.
Many networks prefer reality television because the genre is fairly cheap to produce when compared to scripted television. However, the same cannot be said about Below Deck as it typically costs upwards of $10 million per season to produce.
“All I’ve got is the gossip, and numbers have been swirled between $10 to $12 million,” she told the Daily Mail. “It’s a very expensive show to film.”
Of course, renting a yacht for a six-week season is extremely expensive since the average cost of a weekly yacht rental is about $200,000. Bobby Genovese — who owns the boat known as Valor featured on seasons four, five, and seven of Below Deck — recently revealed how much he was paid for the use of his boat while explaining why he agreed to the deal.
“I don’t use the boat those six weeks. They paid me a million dollars, they fixed the damage that [they caused], my crew got the opportunity to have time off, and it made sense for me,” Bobby told Docwalk in April.
It should be noted that his boat’s real name is BG. Since he didn’t want his vessel to be associated with the show, the stage name Valor was chosen.
Meanwhile, Jim Glidewell — who owns the yacht Ohana featured on season two of the show — said he did not wish to use a stage name for his vessel as he dished on the great experience he had working with Bravo.
“Bravo has this down to a science. It doesn’t go rough at all. It’s very well done,” he explained. “Captain Lee [Rosbach] handled it great, but I had a first mate and an engineer on board for backup [who were not shown on television].”
Jim went on to say that his boat’s typical guests are nothing like the charter guests on the show because they’re not “adult spring breakers.” Kim Vibe-Petersen, who owns Parsifal III on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, seemingly agrees with Jim about the guests, but he also believes the crew members are a bit over-the-top as well.
“It’s not totally like it is in reality,” Kim revealed. “The crew is jumping around in our Jacuzzi and all over the boat. That part of it is maybe a little overdone.”
As for the Valor’s owner, he refuses to watch the show because he’d rather not know what’s happening on his vessel. Furthermore, if someone attempts to tell Bobby about something that went down on his boat, he shuts the conversation down immediately.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht season two airs Monday nights on Bravo at 9/8c, and Below Deck Mediterranean season six is expected to return sometime this summer.
According to a report from Page Six, New Jersey Judge Paul Escandon ordered Tommy be released from jail as he awaits an upcoming trial on allegations of having targeted Dina and Dave in a violent home invasion and robbery.
Tommy’s release came after assistant Prosecutor Caitlin Sidley attempted to convince the judge that Tommy was an obsessed ex-husband who had reportedly stalked his former spouse before allegedly breaking into her and Dave’s Holmdel duplex and attacking the two of them, along with accomplice James Mainello.
During the attack, Tommy and James allegedly restrained Dina and Dave with zip ties before beating Dave with a baseball bat and stealing two rings.
“This is what happens when you f-ck with a guy from Paterson,” one of the assailants allegedly told the couple amid the beating.
Also during Friday’s hearing, Tommy’s attorney, Amy Luria, claimed there was little evidence linking him to the invasion and highlighted a number of letters written on behalf of her client, including one written by Caroline.
According to a second report, via NJ.com, Caroline said in her letter that Tommy is “kind-hearted and caring” before the prosecution suggested Dina and Dave were forced to change their entire lives “based on their constant fear of the defendant.”
The prosecution also claimed more than 300 pages of inquiries in regard to Dina and Dave were discovered at Tommy’s office at The Brownstone.
At the end of the hearing, however, the judge decided he was not “overly concerned about [Tommy’s] risk of flight” and released him from jail.
Tommy is also accused of hiring a reputed Lucchese crime family member, John Perna, to assault Dave in 2015 in exchange for a discount on his wedding at The Brownstone, a restaurant and event space Tommy owns with his brother, Albert Manzo.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 11 reunion, part two, airs Wednesday, May 26, at 9/8c on Bravo.
“I would feel that stability for my children is what I care about the most. So any kind of long-term committed relationship that Jim is in, I fully, fully support because that’s absolutely the best for my children,” she told Us Weekly earlier this month.
Meghan, who shares daughter Aspen, 4, and twin sons, Hart and Hayes, 2, with the former baseball player, went on to explain that her priority is making sure her kids feel loved no matter what the situation.
“I was a stepmom and I’ve always been the school of thought that the more people to love children the better,” she shared. “And I don’t think that there’s a limited capacity for children to be able to be loved. It’s not like they could only be loved by mommy and daddy. I don’t think that takes away my love for them if they’re going to love somebody else. So I think it’s great.”
Meghan’s also hoping to find love again, but she hasn’t found the right person just yet. She dated Christian Schauffor about six months, but the two amicably split in November 2020. The former reality star moved on with Will Roos a few months later. Though she and Will are still seeing one another, Meghan revealed she’s looking for something a bit more serious.
“I just saw Will out here in California,” she said. “He’s great. He’s a super close friend of mine. … It’s fine, but I’m looking for a life partner, not … somebody to casually date.”
The mother of three is taking her time as she doesn’t want to force someone to commit. And when it comes to marriage, Meghan doesn’t believe the “paperwork” is as important as she once thought.
“Let’s be honest, like, to be in a rush might not be the smartest decision,” she quipped. “I definitely just enjoy my time and I don’t feel like I have to do anything quote unquote by the book anymore. So I feel really comfortable with who I am, where I stand and I don’t need, you know, paperwork to tell me who I love.”
As fans know, Melissa and Joe have been going through a rough patch, and they candidly shared their issues on the show. Viewers watched as Joe complained about his wife’s career, and in the finale, Melissa wasn’t completely convinced their marriage would last.
Nevertheless, in a new interview, Melissa said she and Joe have subsequently worked through many of their problems after watching their fights play out on the show. And according to the mother-of-three, “they’re good” now.
“I think especially just watching this season, we’re like, ‘Wow, okay, we need to tighten it up a little bit,’ because the end of the day reality TV is not easy,” Melissa told Extra on May 20. “It’s not easy to share our lives with everyone, but I will say, we’re a pretty amazing couple.”
She added, “When you have all these other opinions, always getting thrown at you and obviously work takes me to the left while he’s to the right, so it’s a struggle.”
Before joining the show, Melissa was a stay-at-home mom and seemingly catered to Joe’s every need. Unfortunately for Joe, that’s no longer his reality now that Melissa has gained fame and success, which he confronted her about on the show.
“I would just like my wife to wait for me, and you just walk away like you don’t even have a husband,” Joe said to Melissa, per PEOPLE. “From now on, you just go by yourself while I just walk in the back. We used to be so attached, and I’m still like that. She’s just changed. You turned into this different businesswoman.”
Melissa explained to Joe that she still loves him, but she simply needs her own identity, which she also revealed in a confessional.
“I don’t want to die unhappy,” she said on the May 12 episode. “I wanna feel fulfilled, not just as a mom.”
Though the couple claims to be an open book, they have faced criticism from some fans who seemingly believe they’re faking their marital issues for a storyline, which the Envy Boutique owner addressed in March.
“It’s so real,” Melissa insisted when she spoke to Entertainment Tonight. “Bravo’s not down with that. You start doing any of that, you’re gone.”
The second and final part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 11 reunion airs Wednesday, May 26, at 9/8c on Bravo.
According to MLS records obtained by Reality Blurb, Jackie, 44, purchased the 4-bedroom and 4-bathroom home in 2012 for $2.5 million. However, the 2,200 sq. ft. home is currently valued today at $3.5 million.
“The Beach House,” read a caption across one Jackie’s first set of Instagram Story clips, which featured the RHONJ cast member standing on a second-floor balcony as she filmed the lower level of her home.
The family room of Jackie’s beach house features tons of natural light and a view of the Atlantic Ocean.
After showing off her family room, Jackie took her online audience inside what appeared to be her and Evan’s master suite.
In the oceanfront room, a large bed with white linens were seen as sliding doors opened to a private balcony.
“Happy Friyay,” her caption read.
Jackie has a small table on her balcony, which overlooks her family’s pool and the surrounding sands.
Also upstairs was a kid’s bedroom, featuring two beds with matching headboards and linens.
“Summer mood,” she wrote as she showed off the room.
Downstairs, on one wall of the family room is a stately fireplace with a TV hanging above. Then, on the other side of the room is the kitchen, which features a designer hood, white cabinetry, and dark countertops.
Wooden floors are seen throughout the main level of the home.
Outside of the RHONJ star’s stunning beach house is not only a massive patio and private swimming pool but also raised wooden pathways leading to the ocean.
“Let’s go to the beach,” Jackie said with the video.
Jackie’s beach house is just steps from the ocean.
Jackie has also been open about renting out her vacation home during summer months as records show the home’s rental value is $65,000 a month during that period.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 11 reunion continues this Wednesday, May 26, at 9/8 on Bravo.
“It was really hard to see her mistreatment of Denise, for a friend that she’s had for so long. And so we’re trying to figure it out as we go along, but slowly,” Garcelle explained.
Although Garcelle hasn’t made a lot of headway with Lisa, she has gotten to a “good place” with Kyle after unfollowing her after the season 10 reunion.
“At that time, I did not want to see Kyle on my timeline,” she admitted.
After confirming Erika’s divorce and legal drama and split from Thomas Girardi will “play out” on season 11, Garcelle said she was shocked to see how candid her castmate was about what she was going through.
“You’ve gotta give her a pat on the back because she really showed up,” Garcelle confirmed. “I don’t know if I would have, had I had all that going on and being on a reality show. But she really showed up.”
While the cast enjoyed “some really fun” times during production, Garcelle said there were also some “tough conversations” between her and her castmates, especially Kyle.
We definitely have conversations about race, about me walking to a room, versus them walking to a room. You’ll see a lot of that,” she teased, adding that the plight for racial equality was supported by her co-stars.
“I think everybody got what we were trying to do with BLM and protesting and George Floyd. I think everybody got it,” she shared.
As for her future on RHOBH, Garcelle admitted that while she’s having fun with her reality position at the moment, she isn’t planning to stay on the series for too long.
“I enjoy half of it,” she explained. “Some of it is really fun. We can really have a great time. The sticky situations are what I’m not fond of but I know it’s part of the show. So I’m happy to be back. I’m not expecting to do it for 10 years like some of the other women. But for now, I’m sticking around.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
Hellooooo, Blurbers! If this is your first time tuning in, welcome to Reality Blurb’sOpen Post, a little old place where we bring you the light fluff, and also give you a forum to talk about whatever you want! This includes shows we don’t normally cover on here, and it’s also a space to have fun and socialize, so if you’re itching for a fight, GET OUT. If you’re itching to have a good time, please come on in!
If you have any suggestions for topics (and as I mentioned last week, I sure need some!), please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. Per reader Ronnie’s request, this week, we’re going to channel the dark forces and give you the… Top Ten Biggest Real Housewives Villains!
When I watched old Disney movies as a kid, I always found the villains to be the most intriguing characters in the stories. My favorite is Ursula from The Little Mermaid. Followed by Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty. And the evil queen from Snow White was intense. Those were some bad bitches that stirred up trouble just for the fun of it, which went against everything my parents taught me (except when my mom was feeling petty about the neighbors).
But how do we feel about villains in the real world? Most of the time, when I come across a salty asshole, I think to myself, “FFS, get over yourself.” But I, MYSELF, am a salty asshole, so… maybe I have some lessons to learn. Regardless! Villains of Housewives are a category unto their own, so let’s get to it! Here we go, in no particular order.
LeeAnne Locken of RHOD – I’m starting off with a lighter entry, and things will get more intense as we go down the list. LeeAnne was infamously fired for hurling ethnic slurs at Kary Brittingham during season four, but before that, she was just a regular ol’ carnie from Texas that liked boning between holes in the fence and dancing at weddings without any food. Some would call her the lifeforce of Real Housewives of Dallas, and after the disappointing last season, I tend to agree. Should she come back? Hell, I don’t know. But what made her a compelling villain was her bullhorn dance of death she did to intimidate Brandi Redmond when things got heated up at Stephanie Hollman’s Frat Party.
Phaedra Parks of RHOA – Ooh, chile. There never was a Housewife that threw shade like Phaedra, and what made her shade so special was her honey-thick delivery. Sometimes I miss the old days of Phaedra, but then I remember why she was fired. I guess spreading a *little* rumor about Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker conniving to lure a drugged Porsha Williams into their sex dungeon was a bridge too far for literally everyone on the planet.
Danielle Staub of RHONJ – Oh, Beverly. Now, some may look at her as a victim in the game of life, but when you really break it down, you’ll remember that she a) slowly drove by Dina Manzo’s house (with her kids in tow, no less) to spy on her, b) brought her goons to a cancer charity at the Brownstone without an invitation, and c) dragged Margaret Josephs across a store by her ponytail and laughed maniacally about it. Danielle’s intense energy reverberates wherever she goes, and whenever she’d pop back as a “friend-of” on Real Housewives of New Jersey, all hell would break loose.
Swamp Creature of RHOBH – Must I name her? Okay, fine, but I’M NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT. When Brandi Glanville entered the stage on season two of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we didn’t get a chance to understand what a nutcase we were dealing with because of Kyle Richards’ mean girl ways. As the seasons went on… well, then we got a REALLY GOOD sense of what Brandi is all about. She barks, she drools, she claws… she sleeps above her covers… three FEET above the covers, and when she’s not busy being the Gatekeeper at the gates of hell (don’t flatter yourself Brandi; I’m not actually comparing you to Sigourney Weaver), she would throw drinks at her castmates, spread rumors in her disturbing baby talk voice, and was racist AF towards Joyce Giraud.
Kelly Dodd of RHOC – There’s a lot of back and forth over what happened with Heather Dubrow’s departure from Real Housewives of Orange County. Was she fired? Did she leave because of personal differences she had with a producer? DID ANY OF THIS HAVE TO DO WITH KELLY DODD? On that last part, I suspect at least a little, because on season 11, Heather was absolutely scandalized by Kelly’s low digs at the other women. (Remember when Kelly called Shannon Beador a ‘c**t’, or when she called Tamra Judge a ‘f***ing idiot?) Kelly’s tenure on the show has been rife with conflict. If you’re a sentient being encased in flesh, odds are Kelly will pick a fight with you whether cameras are around or not. Safety tip: if you’re attending BravoCon this year, DO NOT wear a gong on your head.
Candiace Dillard Bassett of RHOP – Bravo needs to keep this woman away from butter knives. And cheese knives. Because while she may not cut you, she’ll wave that little knife around in your face like she’s a greaser from The Outsiders, and call you a ‘zoo animal’ or ‘bed wench’. Candiace strikes me as the type of person that can’t function without drama. She’s the very definition of ‘hurt people hurt people’ and ‘own worst enemy’, and everything she says is pretty much hardwired to gut everyone in her path.
Aviva Drescher of RHONY – Where do we begin with this one? I guess we’ll start with when Aviva single-white-femaled Carole Radziwill, and after being mocked by Razzie over her copycatism, spread a rumor that Carole’s book What Remains was ghostwritten. Then, there was that time Aviva called Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer “white trash” because they didn’t pay her enough respect for flying on an airplane. I’m not even going to get into Aviva’s perverted father. So let’s end it with Aviva waving around her medical records and throwing her prosthetic leg at Heather Thomson.
(Fun fact: I previously had Jill Zarin in this spot on the list, but I woke up in the middle of the night and shrieked, “AVIVA!” That was a close call, folks.)
Kenya Moore of RHOA – Kenya, given allllll we’ve seen of her antics on Real Housewives of Atlanta over the years, really could be at the top of the list when you think about it. She openly flirted with Apollo Nida right in front of his wife, Phaedra Parks. She insinuated that her ex- (and possibly paid?) boyfriends were either gay or abusive after they broke up. She chased TOOTIE (aka Kim Fields) off the show after only one season! And the pièce de résistance was when she joyfully ate crab cakes in front of a starving group of women on the cast trip she was hosting! I know some readers on here think Kenya gets blamed too much, and I think that’s fair to a degree. But damn, she sure doesn’t make it easy to root for her.
Lisa Rinna of RHOBH – Even though this list isn’t in definitive order, I put Rinna second to last just to piss her off. HA HA. It’s been clear since season six of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that she’s doubled down on the whole concept of being a reality show villain. That’d be fine if Lisa were on Survivor, but in a show that’s purportedly about the lifestyles of the uber-wealthy, Lisa has transformed RHOBH into a fake, dark soap opera. I thought her lowest point was rallying the troops to gang up on a grieving Lisa Vanderpump over #puppygate… I mean, those pill pants and the tweet making fun of Lisa’s brother’s death were atrocious. But! As it turns out, she pulled a “hold my beer” in season 10, and hounded her friend of 20 years, Denise Richards, over whether she had an affair with Swamp Creature. So that makes TWO highly popular cast members that were chased off the show because of Rinna’s toxic behavior. Mission accomplished, Lisa!
Tamra Judge of RHOC – Must I explain why “Naked Wasted” Judge is in this slot? I have never seen a Housewife more duplicitous than TamTam, and THAT is one helluva declaration to make. Despite her syrupy-sweet voice and, um, relationship with God, Tamra had her fingerprints all over every bit of gossip that went around the OC, and whenever she was called on it, she’d pull the old, “LOOK OVER THERE!” I know it’s been many years, and we’ve discussed it many times, but that moment when she leaned in and whispered to Vicki Gunvalson, “Let’s get her naked wasted,” about Gretchen Rossi, shivers ran down my spine. Shivers STILL run down my spine! It was that bad.
“I’ve been really apprehensive to share what I’ve learned over the past year because I know a lot of people, they pick everything apart or they make fun or they call things performative but Beau and I talked about it and we feel like, it’s better to talk about it and talk about these things than to not talk about them,” Stassi explained on the debut episode of her podcast, The Good the Bad the Baby.
According to Stassi, she discovered the Conscious Kid, an organization that provides books to schools, parents, and others in need, on Instagram after asking herself, “How do [I] teach [my daughter] about systemic racism [and] bias?”
“Through following the Conscious Kid, I realized that you have to be teaching these things to kids at a young age. In the work that I’ve been doing over the last six months… they became one of my favorite accounts to follow,” she shared.
“I woke up that morning, and Beau was outside journaling or reading or something productive, and I walk outside, and I’m like, ‘I’m two days late. My period should have gotten here two days ago, and I really want to take a pregnancy test,’” Stassi recalled.
While Stassi admitted to being under the influence of alcohol at the taping, which was virtual, she said she was told her baby would be okay since she was so newly pregnant.
“I was toasty on the reunion, and I feel bad about that but come to find out, lots of women drink not knowing that they’re pregnant,” she explained.
Following her positive pregnancy tests (she took plenty), Stassi said she decided to stage a gender reveal, even though she was previously against the idea.
“[Katie Maloney] and I used to DM each other pictures of over-the-top gender reveals and make fun of them because I always was just like, ‘No one actually cares about the baby’s gender, unless you’re the parents or immediate family,’” Stassi said. “And when I got pregnant, that [thought] did change.”
“We were going to get a plane. We literally were,” she continued. “We were going to have a plane fly around Valley Village, saying either, ‘It’s a Girl,’ or, ‘It’s a Boy,’ so our friends could walk out of their houses and we could safely social distance and celebrate.”
As for what got in the way of her plans, Stassi admitted she went into a funk after being fired.
“We just weren’t in the mood to celebrate in such a big way,” she confessed.
“My sister baked this really beautiful cake that said, ‘The Clark Passenger,’ and that was actually one of the best days of my life. I remember it feeling like it was Christmas morning, and when we cut into the cake and saw pink, [Beau] always wanted a girl. I didn’t realize how much I wanted a girl until that moment. When I saw that it was pink, I was like, ‘Oh my God. This was meant to be,’” she recalled.
“I think growing up it was hard due to a lot of hate but in college, I feel like it kind of makes it easier,” Riley, who is currently a freshman at NYU, explained on the WWHL: After Show. “I tried not to tell anyone that my mom’s on TV because then it’s kind of awkward for me and then seeing the staff notice you, especially when you’re just trying to go to class, is very awkward.”
Avery also experienced some awkward moments while studying at the University of Virginia.
“I remember when I transferred sororities, one of my friends, who later became my roommate, was like, ‘I heard she’s mean,’” Avery recalled, adding that there are “negative connotations about being on reality TV.”
While Riley and Avery were sometimes haunted by their reality roles in college, Noelle said that her experience was a bit different due to the fact that her college journey was actually featured on RHOA.
“It definitely made my experience a lot different and harder for me socially. People assume you’re boogie or stuck up and that’s just really not true. I definitely think it made it harder for me at college,” she admitted.
Noelle, who recently appeared in a campaign for SheaMoisture, also experienced hardships after landing a job at celebrity hotspot Nobu.
“I actually got fired from the hob because [fans] were noticing me. They were like, ‘We don’t want people noticing you at the job. That’s not what it’s about,’” she shared.
When the girls were later asked about their favorite quotes of their mothers, Riley revealed her favorite Kandi quote is, “Who said that?,” as Noelle said her favorite Cynthia quote is, “Now what else is going on?”
As for Avery, who is currently working in sales for Cameo, she picked two, including “Either ‘Calm down, take a Xanax,” and, “If you don’t like me, acquire some taste.”
Watch What Happens Live airs Sundays through Thursdays at 11/10c on Bravo.
As fans likely know by now, Jennifer and Melissa Gorga took their beef to social media and blasted each other ahead of the reunion. Melissa fired the first shot, but according to a new report, the “entire” cast is unhappy with Jennifer following the season 11 reunion taping.
“There’s a weird energy going on with the group when it comes to Jen Aydin,” a source told Hollywood Life on May 21. The source added, “The fighting at the reunion is 100 percent real.”
The first half of the reunion was fairly intense as Melissa accused Jennifer of throwing her mom under the bus – which Jackie Goldschneider seemingly agreed with – and Jennifer retaliated by telling the “On Display” singer she needs to stop sharing phony storylines on the show. Furthermore, Jennifer also went after Margaret Josephs by claiming the Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget author is the real source – and not Teresa Giudice – of the cheating rumor about Jackie’s husband, Evan Goldschneider.
“She’s become a big eye roll to the entire cast,” the source alleged. “They don’t feel she, herself, is authentic, and the only person siding with her is Teresa.”
However, Teresa apparently isn’t offering a great deal of support to Jennifer amid the recent drama as the insider claims the Standing Strong author is “trying to stay out of it.”
Apparently, most of the women seemingly agree with Melissa and feel like the mother-of-five is “fake and conniving,” which is what Melissa stated via Instagram hours before part one of the reunion aired.
“I’ve been on the show a long time and I know fake and conniving when I see it,” she wrote on May 19. “When you don’t come for someone at all, and they are constantly trying to put you down and trying to cause rifts in your relationships, that’s a huge red flag.”
According to the source, Melissa had had enough of Jennifer’s antics and felt like she needed to speak for the majority of the cast.
“The cast feels Jennifer’s causing a lot of drama and starting trouble for no reason other than to create storylines,” the production insider said.
The current cast, along with new cast members, will reportedly begin filming season 12 in June. Therefore, it’s safe to say all of this recent drama will be addressed, and it should make for an explosive season.
Real Housewives of New Jersey season 11 will conclude with part two of the reunion, which airs Wednesday night on Bravo at 9/8c.
”We actually had to have a meeting with production in the middle of airtime for our show because she was cyberbullying,” Kameron explained on the May 12 episode of Kam & Kary Do Dallas.
After being called into the production meeting, Kameron said she and Dr. Tiffany agreed to leave the past in the past. However, as Kameron shared, Dr. Tiffany allegedly returned to her bad behavior “within 24 hours.”
“She was sending my photo around to incite hate upon me, and that broke my heart,” Kameron claimed. “We should be lifting each other up. We all have drama but let’s not ruin each other’s reputation. I would never in a million years try to hurt somebody like that because I couldn’t sleep at night.”
As for the allegations regarding potential racism, Kameron said Dr. Tiffany assured her that she “would never think of that with” her or her family, despite her insinuations on the show.
“Even on the reunion, you see [Tiffany] say, ‘We can move on if we leave the past behind us.’ Well, I’ve done that. I’ve not been even tweeting at her, and she continues to attack me. It’s so hurtful,” Kameron said.
Kameron then denied the allegations of racism point-blank, saying, “I would never, ever judge someone by the color of their skin, ever in a million, trillion years, and I think everyone on this cast knows that as well, including Tiffany.”
As RHOD fans have surely seen, things took a turn for the worse after Kary and Kameron filmed this episode of their podcast as Kameron’s husband, Court Westcott, accused Dr. Tiffany of “vile racism” and his brother, Chart, suggested she was endangering her patients on Twitter.
In addition to her drama with Dr. Tiffany, Kameron also spoke of her falling out with D’Andra Simmons, who she defended against claims of changing her last name for financial reasons at the reunion.
“D’Andra saw me in the hall crying [at the reunion], [and] never once walked up to me to check me. Never texted me. I had her back at the reunion. Did she have my back? No. And that was really hurtful,” Kameron said of her experience with D’Andra during season five.
